Dream sequence for Cleo.He was cold.  Cold, tired, and alone.  He had given up on crying a while ago.  He wasn't supposed to make a sound, and he was going to do as his mother asked.  Her eyes were just too wide as he was lowered, and her screams a few minutes later only moved the dread of discovery into terror.  Shear, blinding, terror.  The ledge on the side of the well that he crouched in was dry sometimes.  But not now.  He stoops in five inches of water and has not felt his feet for hours.   
A man had come by on horseback that morning and yelled out as he rode past, but t Dream sequence for Cleo.

The drive back home is quiet. Aaron isn't talkative and I don't have much to say. I spend most of my time worried, squinting out through the midday sun onto the freeway and praying that nothing happens that they can't handle while I am gone.  
 
This is crazy. I shouldn't be doing this. I should be disappearing. Right now. I should drop off the face of the planet, let the chips fall where they may. They couldn't do much worse in this life than to have me as their friend anyway. But I won't.

He hears echoing, though much lighter, thumps all around him as the small army of undead that were shambling their way towards the elf and him stop in their tracks and fall over. About that time his computer informs him that basic sensors have been restored to minimal capacity and it warns that while it can make the repairs without going to the shop, it will require at least five hours of downtime. Alex snaps the basic sensors back up and is seeing the world in big colored blocks as the computer recalibrates for the damage and settings. Spammers they inundate, a deluge of crap.
My money they aspire to catch in their trap.
The tell me of fortunes, vast and mine.
All they require is my toeing the line.

They want something from me, my card information.
Perhaps an account routing designation.
A princess is caught or a rich man is dead
All of it leads to honeyed words in my head.

Some are quite slick, and warrant a look.
Others are intended to be read by a crook.
All of them play on my laziness and greed
and all of them try on my wallet to feed.

I have a tip for them, if you all would not mind.
The first is to hire a shyster not blind
For the language of spam is a terrible thing
and the way it is writ does not English sing

It is insulting at best to think I would fall
and go for your scam thus dropping the ball
When your grasp of my language is so incredibly bad
That the only words that come to my mind is "that's sad."

So do me a favor and spare me your snivel
I am tired of getting your pathetic drivel
If you can't stop cold turkey, if there's some driving need
At least make them more entertaining to read!

If by "long time" you mean "about three months" then yes. It is on my list of slow updating comics. I check it every couple of weeks or so. I find it entertaining, if a bit ridiculous at times.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised to see that you don't stick to just one thing. It is always sad to see an artist stagnate, and you seem to be avoiding that pitfall thus far.
